Burak Sevilengül

Burak Sevilengül received his undergraduate degree from the Department of Business Administration of Middle East Technical University in 1994 and his MBA degree from the University of Georgia in 1999.

Burak Sevilengül initiated his business career in 1994 as Export Marketing Manager at Yaşar Foreign Trade. Between 1996 and 1998 he served as International Sales and Marketing Manager at Dardanel; Pricing Analyst at FedEx from 1999 to 2001; Consumer Marketing Unit Manager at Turkcell from 2001 to 2005; and Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa Regional Business Development Manager at Intel from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, he returned to Turkcell as Head of the Retail Customers Division, subsequently serving as Deputy General Manager responsible for the Consumer Business Unit, and Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Digital Services. In 2016, he joined e&(Etisalat), a global technology holding based in the United Arab Emirates, as Vice President of Commercial Operations and CEO of International Operations. Over the next nine years, he led Etisalat’s operational transformation, digitalization, growth in new business areas, and merger & acquisition activities. In 2023, he founded EBS Consultancy, which provides strategic consulting to the founders, top management, and boards of multinational companies. In addition to his managerial roles, Sevilengül has served on the boards of various publicly-listed companies in the technology, financial services, and telecommunications sectors.

Burak Sevilengül has been appointed to the position of Eczacıbaşı Group CEO effective as of February 17, 2025.
