Eczacıbaşı Investment Holding was founded in December 1973 with a capital of TL 80,000,000. In February 1974, the company offered 50 percent of its shares to the public, becoming one of the first companies in Turkey to go public. In 1984, the company switched to the registered capital system; its current capital is TL 105,000,000 and its registered capital is TL 500,000,000.
Eczacıbaşı Investment Holding is a shareholder in existing or newly established companies that are active in fields it deems appropriate and provide stable dividends. As a shareholder, it also participates in the capital increases of these companies.
