Burak Sevilengül has been appointed to the Eczacıbaşı Group CEO position effective as of February 17, 2025.

Burak Sevilengül, initiated his professional career in 1994 as Export Marketing Manager at Yaşar Foreign Trade. Between 1996 and 1998 he served as International Sales and Marketing Manager at Dardanel, Pricing Analyst at FedEx from 1999 to 2001, Consumer Marketing Unit Manager at Turkcell from 2001 to 2005, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa Regional Business Development Manager at Intel from 2005 to 2006. Between 2006 and 2016 he respectively served as Head of Individual Customers Division, Deputy General Manager responsible for Consumer Business Unit, and Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Digital Services at Turkcell. From 2016 to 2023, he worked as Vice President of Commercial Operations and CEO of International Operations at e&(Etisalat), a global technology holding based in the United Arab Emirates. In 2023, he founded and managed EBS Consultancy, which provides strategic consulting to the founding members, top management, and boards of multinational companies. In addition to his managerial roles, Sevilengül has served on the boards of various publicly listed companies in technology, financial services, and telecommunications sectors.

Burak Sevilengül, received his undergraduate degree from the Business Administration Department of Middle East Technical University in 1994 and his MBA degree from the the University of Georgia in 1999.
